Roundtable Meeting

At the November Roundtable Meeting our son volunteered us to do the opening flag ceremony.

Jay - Silver Beaver, District Award of Merit, First Class Scout, Great Lakes Council Member
Jeff - District Award of Merit, Eagle Scout (4 Palms), District Program Chair

2010 Encampment

The 2010 Encampment was an Orange County Council-wide event.  This was exactly like the National Jamboree I remember.  It takes forever to get to where you are going, a lot of walking and full of dust.

Major and Fun event.  Friends of ours got beaded from their Woodbadge Training, Neighbor friends joined us for the day.  Too much to do and kept forgetting to pull out the camera.

2010 Update

Wow,  Here it is November already and I have not updated this blog with any of the activities from this year.  There have been so many centennial events to hour the 100th anniversary, I have included a couple pictures of each of the ones we have participated in.



2010 Rose Parade Float


First time the Boy Scouts have had a float in the parade in a long time. Put together buy scouters.


The float was followed by 300 Eagles Scouts from all over the Nation

Adventure Base 100 was at the show to share in this adventure
